This little fellow was looking a bit snug after a rain shower. The Kookaburra is the largest of the Kingfisher family. They have a distinctive beak, a large head and their call reverberates throughout the Australian bush. They are loud and full of character, as are many of our birds. I love photographing and painting Kookaburras.
