Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

Wild and hardy coastal banksia's grow up and out of sandy foundations, while dainty gum blossoms sprout against lush waxy leaves. This piece is the start of a series of artworks, which began with some beach hikes in Western Australia, whilst on a van road trip around the country. It is an exploration of rugged and unassuming beauty, which exists for no other external purpose than it's own.
