I am drawn to painting misshapen circles, maybe its the circular notion of life, the wholeness of it all, always spinning, always moving. Pattern always features in my work, I enjoy the mediative process of creating each line, dot, repetition of marks. There is something structural, orderly about it, yet painting these lines and dots creates a sense of calm and peace, and I loose myself in the process.
