This painting is part of a collection of recent works‚ and my latest obsession with all things bovine. During 'Beef Week' in my hometown I painted a collection of horse and cattle portraits‚ paying homage to the intertwined dependability of beef cattle and my hometown. 'Rocky' much like the movie‚ is a mark of strength‚ resilience and determination‚ as are the people of my hometown Rocky (Rockhampton). This painting was part of a series entitled 'Fresh Cream' in 2015‚
