This piece was painted purely for fun. I was thinking about all the iconic people that I admire, those that continue to shape the way that I see, and paint. The true rebels, those that challenge the way we think, poke fun of, and stretch our minds to new thoughts and possibilities. Picasso, a punchy character, with eyes that stare into your soul.
I hope to do more studies like this, as I genuinely enjoyed playing with portraiture in black and white, I look forward to painting more rebels.
