Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the back.

A landscape of my hometown, particularly the dam at the back of the property where i grew up. Influenced by the landscapes of Monet and Van Gogh, I tried to create realism and emotion with rough strokes. The roughness inevitably reflects the prickliness of the landscape.
