The small, brightly plumed parrots known as Lovebirds are gorgeous and curious little creatures.
These birds are extremely social to the extent that they are dependant on one another, they mate for life and pine for one another when they're apart. Lovebirds are also very affectionate with their mates, they like to feed and clean one other or simply just cuddle up together. As long as the couples are together, they're happy.

I have aimed to capture this sweet companionship in my artwork, the two little birds cuddle together while perched on a branch and the outline of their bodies creates a love heart shape.

This artwork is about mutual friendship, companionship and love, it is about giving as much as you get and about the amazing support you can get from letting others into your life.
