"A Year in Japan" series - Spring.

This is a limited edition Giclée print - medium sized. The edition number is 2/80. The print is signed, numbered and titled. The dimensions are for the size of the image, not the paper. There is a large white border for framing.

This is the seventh artwork I've created for this series, of which there is 12 in total - one for each month. The series focuses on everyday scenes in Japan, each one featuring a lone man walking away from the viewer near the centre of the work. The style of illustration is inspired by Studio Ghibli animation and Japanese woodblock prints.

This illustration shows my lone figure walking along a cobblestone laneway, past traditional Japanese style buildings. There is a forest in the distance and a cherry tree, covered in blossoms, filling a large portion of the image. It is a peaceful and quiet scene, contrasting nature with the modern electrical wires.

As with each work in the series, my name is written in small black writing within the work.
