This is a LARGE, unframed, limited edition print. It is titled and signed. The colours of the print are almost identical to the original. For this print I have used a high quality, textured paper. The paper colour is slightly off white and more in keeping with the paper used for the original. You can see the texture of the paper in the photos. The dimensions do not include the extra border for framing.
In keeping with the original artwork, I will paint gold gouache onto the same areas of the printed image which were painted gold in the original. This will give the same metallic reflection that the original had. You can see an example of this in the photos of a print I painted.
The original artwork was created using Copic markers, gold gouache and pencil. Seijin Shiki is the Coming of Age ceremony in Japan, where young women who turned 20 in the last year dress up in kimonos. This piece contrasts the traditional kimono with a modern Luis Vuitton handbag. It is the second work in my "Two Worlds" series. I do not have a set number of works yet for this series. My signature is in gold pen at the bottom of the original.
