We Australians know all too well the pain and torment our poor country has endured in recent months, but there have been good times too.

Here in central Victoria, just as our water tanks were starting to run dry, dark clouds laden with precious rain loomed over our land and gave us a well-needed drenching. A week or two later, I can see the grass has returned, particularly in the fields in the valley on the other side of the highway from us – and I smile when I hear the birds squawking and chirping in the trees around us.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Luscious thick brushstrokes and generosity of high-quality pigment are used to create depth, texture and atmosphere to this artwork featuring paddocks, rows of trees, a farm house, mountain ranges and a gorgeous stormy sky and clouds.

The sides are painted titanium white. If you’d like this changed to another colour (eg pale grey, pale blue), please let me know.

FRAMING
There is no need to frame this artwork, however, if you prefer, a floating Tasmanian oak frame can be fitted for an additional $100. Please let me know if you are interested.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born into a family of musicians, authors, actors, photographers and painters, it was natural that life lead me here, poised at the canvas, brush in hand. I live entirely off-grid at my bushland home in rural Victoria with hubby, dogs and a gorgeously prolific vegetable garden.

I use art to express my immense - well, let's say obsessive - passion for the Australian landscape, which is easily recognised in my vibrant colourful and sensitive artworks. Luscious layers of pigment are applied with energy and spontaneity, often switching from brush to palette knife to provide additional texture and depth to my paintings.

PACKAGING
My paintings are treated with the greatest care throughout their life in my studio and home, or at exhibitions where they may temporarily hang. I am extremely careful to ensure your art does not suffer scuff marks, dents or scratches; and it will be carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap and sturdy cardboard. Gift wrapping is available on request.

DELIVERY
Delivery is via Australia Post - Express Post, and insurance is included.
