Oils on sturdy polyester-cotton canvas, it is painted around the sides, ready to hang. This is one of the best waratah blooms I have found. It is deep pinkish red, with well formed, long sepals around a small central cluster. Soft sunlight and shadows enhance its sculptural perfection. Painterly brushstrokes and a large scale canvas lend a contemporary look to my botanical art influenced pieces.
