From Alice in Wonderland.
The Alice books have always been my favourites. As a child I read and reread them until I knew all the poems by heart. Now my children love them as much as I do. A trip to Japan inspired an interest in brush and ink drawing and a spell of ill health tied me to my desk for three months. I tried copying one of the original Alice drawings, then another, then another until I decided to do them all in brush and ink or ink pen. Then I added my own touches to some of them. Now I hope they will go out into the world to brighten the walls and lives of fellow Alice fans.
