Hand printed 4 plate lino cut on Ho Sho paper, first edition. This series of prints allowed me to continue creative exploration of ideas developed in small sketchbook studies. Originally in pastel and in colour, developing these little drawings into graphic images forced me to focus on line and simplified form and flat colour. Things changed in translation from drawing to tracing, to transfer, to the carving of the lino, and to the printing process itself. Together these lino-cuts tell a story about relationships and the multifaceted nature of character.
Only 3 prints on HoSho paper are available in this colour combination.
