Hand printed lino-cuts on Fabriano Rosapina paper, first edition. This series of lino-cuts allowed me to continue creative exploration of ideas developed in small sketchbook studies. Originally in pastel and in colour, developing these little drawings into graphic images forced me to focus on line and simplified form in black and white. Things changed in translation from drawing to tracing, to transfer, to the carving of the lino, and to the printing process itself. Together these lino-cutss tell a story about relationships and the multifaceted nature of character.
