This painting was inspired by my love of nature, and is reminiscent of coral in the Great Barrier Reef. It has beautiful texture and depth and looks so much better in real life than in a photograph.
It was created using clear encaustic medium, shellac, and pan pastel.

Limited Edition Print of my original oil painting of beautiful Santorini.The vortex of time and the elements will ultimately render human constructs unrecognizable. In this painting, a mining crane has been distorted and dispersed beyond recognition.Follow up painting to Hell's Gate. A decision has been made. The crow and eye are witness to the result. Hell's Gate represents the subconscious of a woman who has come to a crossroad in her life. She has a decision to make - which direction is she going to take? The gatekeeper, the crow and the eye are spectator to her dilemma. She is depicted without hair or facial characteristics to identify to the viewer that this is subconscious thought or a dream rather than the corporeal world.
