I was exploring around the waters edge at Yowie Bay recently taking photographs for inspiration for a group exhibition featuring the shire when I noticed a strawberry rocking back and forth in the small wave on the shore of Yowie Bay. The rocking was creating small bubbles around the strawberry and I decided that I would attempt to paint it.
I have painted in oil paints onto a double gesso coated bass wood panel. The back has plastic coated wire to hang, and the ends of the wrapped wire has heat-shrink tubing to protect against scratches,
