Artwork Description

It is good to have a bit of fun after working on some big works for exhibitions. For some reason cactus is what I decided to do. I have enjoyed doing this intuitive and zen painting style for my cactus series.

This one I decided to call Mexican Wave as to me it looks like someone waving. (My sister-in-law suggested Zombie Wave but then decided she must be watching too many late night zombie movies. I don't watch zombies.)

Also Mexican because of the gorgeous bright colours I have used.

This is an A3 size painting on mixed media paper mounted on foamcore with white mount. It is painted with acrylic paint, inks, pencils, pens
