On a recent trip to New Zealand, these Lupin flowers were making the landscape glow with colour. They were everywhere. These lupins were mainly white with tiny dashes of purple. I have recently been revisiting the drawings I made in New Zealand and my photographs, and back in my Melbourne studio I have been using these along with my memories to paint these vibrant landscapes.
