I am intrinsically drawn to one point vanishing points. I visited the Roman Baths in Bath last year and knew instantly that I had to paint this scene. The green slightly sulphurous water was like glass and reflected the building perfectly. I added the few people around the edge to show how the baths are no longer used to bathe in but to be enjoyed visually and historically.
