Artwork Description

I have been admiring the work of Wayne Tiebaud and how he paints everyday objects. My work is about reflecting contemporary life and I was amused by the number of cups on a table when having a smoothie with a friend. I grabbed a photo and painted it back in my studio, I wanted to capture a sense of the moment with the use of the light colours outlining the objects.
