To contradict the seemingly perfect lives of our friends and families photos on Facebook and Instagram, I painted this picture to show a real moment of family life. The cake on the book-shelf suggests perhaps a birthday tea. I would like you, as the viewer, to debate what is going on and perhaps find something you can relate to.
