Zinnias No. 2 would make a nice companion painting with Zinnias No. 1. Both have recently had the backgrounds repainted which has been an improvement. I have new Zinnias in my garden now and am planning on using them in more floral paintings. The garden is a glorious display of red, yellow, orange, purple and white flowers and will be a delight for weeks to come. I confess to being influenced by that great Australian artist, Hans Heysen who painted beautiful flower pieces, some of which included Zinnias. His subject matter was quite varied, so check him out if you don't know about him.
