Stenocarpas sinuatus – Firewheel
Slender rainforest tree usually 15 metres or less, but can reach up to 30 metres in its natural habitat. Large glossy lobed leaves which can have a pinkish glow when young. Red wheel-like flowers summer-autumn. Makes a beautiful sculptural container plant (will need potting up or planting out when the roots fill the container). Nectar is enjoyed by birds.
