Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

Shaft of light in the Gorge by Glenise Clelland Australian artist. Travelling through the Kimberley in far north Western Australia we enjoyed exploring the gorges looking for Aboriginal rock art. Sometimes there was only a sliver of light at the bottom of the gorge casting a golden glow on the rock art. The strong colours of the steep rocky cliffs were a contrast to the deep blue sky.
