The inspiration for my painting was Mugga Ironbark (eucalyptus sideroxylon). These are tough trees with clusters of fluffy flowers. They will tolerate wind, neglect, pollution and frost. In this time of lockdown and all difficulties it has brought with it I felt like needed it to borrow a little bit of Mugga strength and comforting beauty. ☺️
