Oil on paper
Signed on the front.
One of my better pieces. The artist shopping at the local markets.
This is the culmination of years of work. People that own my works. keep them forever. and buy more
When in the studio, when painting large canvas or outline sketching I will use excess and blended paints to create works on paper. They are always abstract and 'Stream of Consciousness" [for want of a better word]. They build up, usually, over a number of sessions.
After 30 years of painting I can honestly say that these works are exceptionally good and totally on a level above what you see now days. Sounds like I'm bragging but, honestly, doing this for a lifetime, you know.
Most have been held over as part of my private collection.
I closed my studio and moved to the Coast. Not enough room.
