Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed certificate of authenticity.

The Pig Face "wend-Dar" was a favourite & readily available supplement food of my ancestors. The fruit of the Pig Face was also relied upon during times of drought. My ancestors would often camp nearby, and enjoy the tasty edible fruit. The juice of the plants lush green leaves was used for treating insect bites, blisters, and for easing the pain and inflammation of various stings and burns.
My painting shows the sand dunes during bright sunlight, and the meandering Pig Face in full bloom.
