Artwork Description

I love the Edwardian elegance of this old steam tug. As a kid I used to watch her fussing around the ocean liners docking or leaving Fremantle Harbour. I came upon an old photo of the Wyola about a month ago and thought she would make a nice subject for a watercolour line and wash. I hope you like it. She was built in 1912 and was dismantled in 1970. Her remains are buried in the sand at CY O'connor beach, North Coogee.

The framed painting measures 32.5 cm x 27.5 cm x 2 cm.
