On my first trip to Queensland traveling to Cairns from The Gold Coast. I came across this lovely little place called 1770. Seventeen Seventy, also written as 1770, is a coastal town and locality in Gladstone Region, Queensland, Australia, built on the site of the second landing in Australia by James Cook and the crew of HM Bark Endeavour in May 1770. Late afternoon I decided to go for a bite to eat at a restaurant near the bay over looking the beautiful calm ocean. As it got closer to the evening there was just a slight breeze and the sky had this lovely color to it. Light Reflections On the water, the rocks and the dark foreground got my mind going this is a great composition for a painting.
All paintings are packaged with a thick, card frame and backing board.
