Monkey Mia is located about 900 km north of Perth, Western Australia. The reserve is 25 km northeast of the town of Denham in the Shark Bay Marine Park and World Heritage Site. The main attraction are the bottlenose dolphins that have been coming close to shore for more than fifty years.On one of my trips to Sharks Bay I drove to Monkey Mia for the day. The day was quite warm with a bit of thundery weather coming in, just a slight breeze over the ocean was a cool relief. Looking at this jetty I saw a good subject to paint. The colors of the ocean were a mixture of blue and turquoise resting nicely against the Sandy beach.

All paintings are packaged with a thick, card frame and backing board.
