When I was a lad‚ my house was a party every Friday and Saturday night. I had everyone use separate ashtrays for ash and butts. This is how I acquired the amount of ash I needed for this piece.
The black is charcoal.
The white is paper.
The greys are ash.
The fire is pastel.
