This is my interpretation of a creature in Heraldry, known as an ENFIELD. It has the head of a fox, forelegs like an eagle's talons, wings of an eagle, the body of a lion and the hindquarters and tail of a wolf.
I added fox gloves, as what else could a fox wear! I wanted it to be charming and appealing to children. The worrk is painted in delicate watercolours onto special canvas with a deep edge. It is "fixed" so that the image is water resistant
