This artwork was influenced by my many trips to Bali over the years and was part of my solo exhibition "Memories of Bali". I've always enjoyed the more serene areas of Bali, particularly in the mountains around Ubud. The exotic flowers, birds and general scenery is always so peaceful, colourful and tantalizing compared to the noisier areas of Kuta. This painting is peaceful and is also based on a lovely model whom I sketched on one of my trips. Relaxing to view and enjoy.
