Last Spring I watched in fascination as bees flew onto my balcony to gather pollen from a pot of gorgeous Hellebores on my balcony. I sat close by not to disturb them and watched while they worked and was inspired to paint this piece on timber using watercolour wash and acrylic with texture on the flowers to bring it to life.
