This painting carries a benediction (in the form of the traditional OM symbol) for rain. It’s good to remember that land, animals and wildlife depend on beneficent seasons for life and growth. As you view it, do send a blessing to the land!
The ground in this painting was a canvas monoprint that I began with ink on a sheet of glass. I have embellished it with acrylics and additional images. The technique requires a loose canvas (105 cm wide x 42 cm high) which is now permanently glued to a stretched canvas frame (122cm wide x 60.5 cm high). The painting is ready to hang.
