Affirmation: Don’t look down, look up and see how far we can go.

To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surrounding, during its flowering season.
This is my depiction of the gorgeous bouquet that was gifted to me by my family overseas as a surprise, during the opening night of my solo exhibition - Feb -April 2022 Bloom Like flowers by HSIN LIN, the solo exhibition was presented by Maroondah City Council |Arts in Maroondah at Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery.

Banksia symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings.
Eucalyptus flowers and gum nuts have the symbolic meaning of Healing and Protection.
Yellow Paper Daisy, also known as Sticky Everlasting, Shiny Everlasting, or Golden Everlasting.
Yellow Daisy stands for youthful beauty and gentleness. Some people look at the daisy to be a symbol of good luck. However, the most popular meanings attached to the daisy are - loyal love, innocence, and purity.
All the native blossoms bloom gloriously. A precious memory that I will cherish forever. Therefore, I have the title - Forever Cherished for this particular artwork.

Flowers always bloom in their own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.

Some body once said a piece of art is a part of life of an Artist. I totally agree with it.
This is a very calming scene that I see often in a particular spot by the window that I do my daily meditation at home, sitting on an old chair with nostalgic pattern on it that my lovely neighbour left me. The yuletide camellia bloom beautifully in the winter on my front yard.
<br>
My cat Cadbury sometime sit by the window, by my side, and look at me with her lovable, big round eyes while I do my daily meditation. It's quiet, like time froze at that magical moment.
A very peaceful experience for me indeed.
<br>
I try to interpret her unconditional love and pure companionship in this painting, hope you can feel the love and joy of it from it too.
<br>
Warm regards,
H.Lin

Affirmation: The world is your colour palette, let’s colour the mood and journey bright.
<br>
As many of you may know I don’t paint birds often, but when I do it’s normally a self-projection.
This artwork was inspired by my visit to the Ballarat Bird World. I spent a wonderful day observing all our precious Australian Native Birds.
Rosella has the spiritual meaning of eternal love, devotion, or a shared journey in life.
<br>
Pale-headed Rosella (Platycercus adscitus) are common in Australia, their vivid hues enriching the colour in nature whenever we see them. The Pale yellow and blue rosella can be easily identified by its iconic white and yellow head. Endemic to eastern Australia. Occurs in a wide range of open habitats, and mostly in pairs rather than large flocks.

Affirmation:
Friend is family by choice.
Partner is family by choice.
And you my dear, you are my family by choice.
-We are all different, but we make each other better. -
<br>
Cockatoos symbolize change and to embrace self-love. They also represent a sense of community and the importance of communication
<br>
As many of you may know I don’t paint birds often, but when I do it’s normally a self-projection.
This artwork was inspired by my visit to the Ballarat Bird World. I spent quite some time observing this playful little friend – White Cockatoo, one of my favourite Australian Native Birds.
Which also inspired me to paint this artwork as an extension of my previous series. Like a year book, featuring all our friends, carrying all kinds of memories.
Each bird has different appearance, different personality, and each one of them might remind you of that specific, special friend of yours. That person might be bubbly, fun or even weird in an amazing way, and you love them no matter what.
<br>
That’s why I name this series – Family by Choice. Hope you enjoy this original series of mine.

Metallic Gold paint is used. It’s rich in texture and shines beautifully when you look at the physical painting.

<br>
Written in Gold - Meaning it is true, or becoming true by making a commitment.
Wattle flower – the symbol of life, renewal and potential.
The green and gold are the national colours of Australia, first used in 1899.
<br>
To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surroundings, during its flowering season. This is my 2nd depiction of the gorgeous flowering wattle tree near my studio, which I walk past during my daily walk routine every day. The first one had found good home in QLD.
<br>
The flower always blooms in its own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.
