The blue sea beckoned me, the sun was beaming fiercely on my bare skin. I was the yellow fin swimmer, plunging into the cool clear rippling waters seeking respite from the unrelenting sun. As the waters enveloped me in an entirely foreign sensory world, I found myself grasping for a familiar tactile environment. As I floated with the constantly flowing current I observed the rhythmical reflection of sunlight permeating the water. I could see ribbons of incandescent light reflected by the movement of the waves above. The absence of sound and the presence of underwater echos’ inexplicably drew me to reach within my subconscious and reflect upon my natural inhibitions. Exploring an underwater-world like a young child filled with the delights of discovering breathtaking coral and longing to play with darting fish. I was compelled to capture this moment.
