Only a tiny corner is left of the vast swathe of bush that drew me to countless hours of exploration near my childhood home. Then there were no ordered pathways or volunteers and it was a place of adventure and mystery, quite magical. High over the Swan River, it speaks to days long before white settlement. These artworks are a direct connection to a time, place and feeling that has never left me.
