HMAS Adelaide and HMAS Canberra, side by side, during the final stages of fitting out at the Williamstown Dockyards in 2014.

Humanity and the Sea - The setting sun over the dockyards symbolises the ending of the final shipyard contracts and potential closure of the dockyards and the impact on the careers of many of the maritime workers. I saw this scene when I was returning from Sandringham to Docklands on a charter trip on the Tall ship Enterprize in 2014, just at the time when there had been announcements about the Dockyards potential closure.
