The beautiful and funny Tawny Frogmouth Bird.
They were sitting in the tree outside my kitchen window, one Autumn morning, and it was only when one of them moved, that I noticed the four of them sitting together. Mum and Dad on the outside protecting the young two in the middle. Their big eyes just staring out looking at me through the window. Tawny Frogmouth's are not Owls, as the sit low in the tree and catch food with their beaks. An interesting bird with lots of character.

I took lots of photos and did quite a few sketches and finished off the watercolour paintings in my studio.
