Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This artwork comes with an external frame

These dahlia's were discovered in Founder's Park, Nelson, New Zealand. Some of my best flower photo references were taken in NZ, where everything just seems to grow with more lushness than at home in Australia.
My aim with this painting was to capture the translucent qualities of the petals in sunshine and the variations of colour in the shadows.
Custom framed in a honey silver timber moulding with matching fillet. Framed size: 82w x 104h cm.
