Artwork Description

I've used my Dads vintage home movies to paint this fragmented scene of body surfers on Newcastle beach circa 1950. Apart from small details, either visible or missing this could be now, and it's obvious that, in a vastly changed world since then, that relationship and interaction between us and the surf hasn't changed. Nature calls the shots and we need to respect. Consists of 9 small canvases in a frame hand made by the artist.
