Artwork Description

After taking reference photos of a Forest Kingfisher, I carried on walking around the lake and come across this Sacred Kingfisher. I took quite a few photos and was really pleased that I got such great reference photo. I just love the tilt of it's head.

Sacred Kingfisher No 4 is painted on Colourfix 340gsm Smooth Paper using artist quality acrylic paints and measures 8 x 10 inches (20.3 cm x 25.4 cm). The painting is unframed/unmounted.

The base paper for Colourfix Smooth is a 300gsm European archival hot press watercolour paper. The Colourfix Primer is screen printed onto the paper creating 340gsm Colourfix Smooth Paper. Colourfix Smooth paper is suitable for use with a range of mediums including acrylics.
