Artwork Description

The Superb Fairy Wren is one of my favourite birds to paint. I photographed the reference photo for this little fellow when holidaying in Tasmania a few years back.

Superb Fairy Wren No 14 is painted on Colourfix 340gsm Smooth Paper using artist quality acrylic paints and measures 6 x 6 inches (15.2 cm x 15.2 cm). The painting is unframed/unmounted.

The base paper for Colourfix Smooth is a 300gsm European archival hot press watercolour paper. The Colourfix Primer is screen printed onto the paper creating 340gsm Colourfix Smooth Paper. Colourfix Smooth paper is suitable for use with a range of mediums including acrylics.
