I love watching these birds when walking around my area. I have wanted to paint one for ages and I finally managed to get a good reference photo of one when I come across this one sitting on a bridge post.

Welcome Swallow is painted on Colourfix 340gsm Smooth Paper using artist quality acrylic paints and measures 7 x 5 inches (17.8 cm x 12.7 cm). The painting is unframed/unmounted.

The base paper for Colourfix Smooth is a 300gsm European archival hot press watercolour paper. The Colourfix Primer is screen printed onto the paper creating 340gsm Colourfix Smooth Paper. Colourfix Smooth paper is suitable for use with a range of mediums including acrylics.
