Inspired by the wonderful sunsets by the sea adding a lighthouse with it's beams of light . I have interpreted this into a mix of painting and pointillism. Each dot is placed individually onto the canvas. This piece took 50 hours to produce with a multitude of different coloured dots to create a textural feel. A side lighting source upon the canvas creates shadows from raised dots adding extra dimension. An extremely time consuming work of art which required many hours of patience. Deep edges are painted blue as the top of the sky. Ready to hang.
