As so many I am also concerned about the devastation that is being caused by open cut mining and mining generally. It is not my intention to be politically obvious in any of my work, but rather give the viewer an insight into the ravages that humanity is causing on our beautiful planet. I as an artist feel a certain responsibility in at least giving people an insight even if only in a small way.
