This painting is from the Gungarlin River series and is a diptych that covers the view on the walk back to the car after fly fishing this river in March 2018. This is a high Alpine valley and the snow grass and pasture have been burnt by a long dry summer into beautiful hues of yellow and white ochre. the brilliant, clear blue sky is reflected by the stream.
