This portrait of a Masai woman was made using hundreds of recycled punched paper circles to create the beads over a print of a collage done with security envelope lining for the face.
Maasai women set aside time every day to work on their beautiful beaded jewellery. I started this year with a goal to create something every day and have slowly been adding to the work with punched paper circled for beads made from paper recycled from my studio.

Size is A2 420x594cm

For an additional $150 the work is available framed in a black frame with a tiny gold trim and a black mat. Pickup from my Brisbane studio or I can drop off in the central Brisbane area.
