This autumn leaf mixed media painting began with a collection of images ranging from peeling paint on walls to lizard skin. These were combined together and printed to create the gorgeous variegated background. This was then painted with white acrylic over the negative space leaving a hint of the background still visible to create the patterned autumnal leaf.
